Water Filters
Are completely automatic vertical modules that work in pressure til 7 bar. They are composed by pressure containers in plastic reinforced by fiberglass and are controlled by a hydroelectric valve for the automatic regulation in the service phase, backwash and in co-current washing.
In which cases is a filter needed?
- in order to eliminate the turbidity
- in order to eliminate iron and manganese
- in order to eliminate smells, tastes and colours
- in order to eliminate corrosion caused by pH and CO2
- for the mineralization of water
Types of water filters
Tank in plastic reinforced by fiberglass with centralized control valve.
Tank in plastic reinforced by fiberglass with big capacity and a battery group of automatic valves.
The minerals used for filtering
The large range of minerals, used alone or in combination, make the choice of the most suitable and specific filter possible in according to the typology of water that the filter has to treat:
Quartz and anthracite are chemically inert and at disposal in selected granulometries for refined filtrations or for the elimination of iron and manganese previously oxidized(FQ seris).
Manganese dioxide is a natural crumbled mineral without additives and suitable for the elimination of iron and of manganese from water using the catalytic oxidation (FM series).
“Cullmite” is a semi-calcinated Calcium carbonate and Magnesium product particularly suitable for drinkable, acid or poorly mineralized water. This treatment permits the presence of a natural and spontaneous reaction of solubility in the consumption of Cullmite. This reaction is proportional to the water acidity (CO2) with neutral salt as a result (bicarbonate) which gives to water a neutral pH (FC series).
